SONICS STEP UP TO CONFERENCE LEAGUE 3

Bristol Sonics will test themselves against some of the best amateur Rugby League teams in the UK this summer after being granted one of just 10 places in Conference League 3.

The Sonics applied to join the prestigious “Tier 3” competition after winning the Midlands Premier division of the regional Rugby League Conference in 2011, and were given the nod by the Rugby Football League after a rigorous application process.

The Sonics’ pre-season preparations for 2012 are underway with 2 weekly sessions being held at Filton College ’s WISE Campus on Thursdays and Sundays.

The Bristol Sonics 2011 Presentation Night will take place on 17th September at Tiki Cocktail Bar and Grill (44 Whiteladies Road) from 19:30.

The night will be a celebration of everything the club has acheived this year so awards will be presented to players and volunteers from the 1st and 2nd teams, SubSonics Touch Rugby teams, and the club's junior set-up.
