There are a number of positions to be filled, from match day stewards and programme sellers to committee positions and administrators. All new volunteers will be kitted out with a Bristol Sonics polo shirt and will qualify for special offers on away travel and club merchandise. The Sonics have organized a special meeting for anyone interested in volunteering. It will be held on Friday March 30 at The Hill on Cottam Hill, Bristol, starting at 7pm. There will be a chance for local rugby league enthusiasts and potential volunteers to meet players and committee members, and a chance to watch that night’s Super League match on a big screen.Bristol Sonics Chairman Phil Cole said: ‘To date the Sonics has managed to grow to become one of the UK’s leading amateur Rugby League clubs through the hard work and dedication of a group of hard-working volunteers. To keep growing it is essential that we recruit new volunteers.’We are well aware that many people cannot commit too many hours to helping out at a local community-focused sports group, so we have created a number of positions that require small amounts of time and commitment. We will of course welcome anyone who wishes to do more and get more involved, but it doesn’t have to take over your life.’Whether you can spare two hours every few weeks or three or four hours a week, we will welcome you with open arms.’For more details on some of the roles available please click on the file link below:
