Bristol Sonics will start their 2012 Conference League 3 campaign by entertaining Kippax Knights on Saturday 21st April 2012. The Knights were 2011 Grand Finalists so the match will provide a good measure of how far the South West’s leading club has come. Sonics Head Coach Karl Fearnley is relishing the start of the season: ‘It’s a tough start but there are no easy games in this division. The match will be a yard-stick against which to measure ourselves but I’m confident that with the pre-season plans we’ve got in place we will be more than competitive.’The regular season concludes on Saturday 1st September 2012 with the Sonics hosting fellow newcomers St Albans Centurions. In other news, pre-season training continues to attract record numbers and the club will shortly be announcing dates of trial matches as competition for 1st team squad places intensifies.
