West of England 2018: For the first six weeks, teams will be divided into three groups of four based on proximity, and will play each other home and away. The groups are:
Pool A: Sonics, Somerset, Bath, Swindon
Pool B: Cheltenham, Glos Warriors, Forest Bulldogs, Swindon A
Pool C: Oxford Cavaliers, Reading Raiders, Southampton, Portsmouth
After this phase is complete, the top two in each group will carry their points forwards to a premier “super six” in which each team will play each other once (IE either home or away). The bottom two in each will go into another six-team group and similarly play the other sides once. At the end, there will be semi finals and grand finals for both six-team comps and a finals day on August 11 at a venue TBC.
